Accessibility remediation and testing

Accessibility audits, remediation, and documented testing.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II web rule identifies Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the technical standard for covered state and local government web content and mobile applications. Sonoma Solutions audits sites, prioritizes barriers, and remediates documents to an agreed accessibility scope. We document automated testing and add human and assistive-technology review when the engagement requires it. No accessibility overlays.

How we help

Document (PDF) remediation

We tag structure, add meaningful alternative text, and correct reading order, tables, forms, links, language, and metadata as applicable. Delivery can include Portable Document Format/Universal Accessibility version 1 (PDF/UA-1) validation plus a record of the human and assistive-technology review included in scope.

Website accessibility audit

A clear assessment against the agreed WCAG criteria, with issues ranked by user impact, severity, and remediation priority instead of a 400-page dump. You get a fix list your team or ours can act on.

Remediation and implementation

We fix what the audit finds, or hand your developers a prioritized, plain-English roadmap. Either way the work is scoped and priced up front, with no open-ended retainer.

Validation and documentation

Each engagement states what was tested, which tools and standards were used, and where human or assistive-technology review was included. That gives your team a usable record without overstating what an automated check proves.
