More than 60 paired accessibility reference pages in a custom WordPress library.
This case study documents a reference-library build. Sonoma Solutions no longer uses the separate domain as its primary accessibility storefront.
A custom WordPress reference-library build with more than 60 paired pages showing selected Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA failures and corrected patterns side by side. The case study covers the information architecture, custom theme, and presentation system, not a blanket conformance claim for the site or its examples.
The problem
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines documentation is detailed and technical. The project needed a plain-language reference that placed a selected failure and corrected pattern side by side in a format a non-specialist could inspect.
What we built
Designed and built a custom WordPress theme for the reference-library use case, with more than 60 paired pages mapped to selected WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria, supporting service pages, and a lead-intake flow. The corrected examples were produced with the separate multi-critic remediation engine; this case study focuses on the library and presentation system.
What was delivered
- 60+ paired pass/fail reference pages mapped to WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria
- Custom WordPress theme built for the reference-library use case
- Service pages for audit, remediation, and testing documentation
- Lead intake flow tied to a fit-call calendar
Outcomes
- A browsable reference for selected accessibility patterns
- A side-by-side format that helps non-specialists understand the examples
- A reusable content structure for criterion-specific pages
- A documented WordPress implementation that can be inspected as a case study
